Interpretation of Psalm 50

Summary/Abstract: Psalm 50 is a penitential psalm in content. It expresses deep regret for sins committed, and at the same time is an earnest prayer for mercy. Psalm 50 was written by King David. He sang this psalm when he confessed to the prophet Nathan and to God about the two crimes he had committed, for which he sincerely repented - the murder of Uriah the Hittite and the adultery with Bathsheba.
