Summary/Abstract: It must be noted that choosing this specific composer is not arbitrary, it has been well thought out according to his work which covers a period decisive for the direction and development of Eastern music (1793-1881). In this period, it is at the end of the old method and at the cusp of the new method, as it is outlined by Hrisant Archbishop of Durres, Hurmusius Hartofilaks. and Grigorii Protopsalt. The Doxology, which we we study musicologically (the musical intonation, interpretation, and performance) is from the manuscript under the number NR 115 of the Sacred Monastery Rila Abode, as well as the printed edition of the same manuscript in order to gain a much better understanding, so that the conclusions we draw can be clearer, more detailed, and better documented.
