Summary/Abstract: The article presents observations on the texts of the Didache and the Bible.A comparison is made, the similarities and differences are indicated. The Didache is a work from the second half of the first century or the beginning of the second century. The work was written in Greek. Its author is unknown. It is especially valuable from a scientific point of view because it reveals the spiritual practices, faith, culture and richness of the language of the early Christians. It was published in 1838 by Philoteus Vrienius. It consists of two parts. The first part is moral edification, mainly including the Christianized teaching about the two paths /of life and death/. The second part includes instructions on baptism, fasting, prayers, the Eucharist as a sacrament, instructions are also given on how believers can distinguish true prophets from false prophets, and thus also reveals the early Christian view of the apocalypse. There are also three prayers - for the cup, for the bread and for thanksgiving. The “Teaching of the Twelve Apostles” has the task of revealing and explaining to the newly converted to Christ the basic moral truths of Christianity and preparing them for accepting the sacrament of baptism. Therefore, it is considered the oldest preserved Christian catechism.
