Summary/Abstract: In light of the rapid growth of the technological era, one of the most contentious issues today is the impact of social media on children, since it is increasingly often that children live in two worlds. Each of the worlds leaves a profound impression on their experiences, self-identities, and relationships. Digital networks have transformed the way young people connect with others. Platforms like Instagram, TikTok and others allow them to maintain relationships across geographical boundaries, fostering a sense of belonging and community. However, this reliance on virtual interaction can sometimes diminish the quality of face-to-face communication skills. Many young people report feelings of isolation despite being constantly connected, as online interactions may lack it.
