Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is oriented towards demonstrating how making digitalization and digitization a strategic priority for the financial sector is changing the way financial services are created, offered, and used, and the emergence of Open Banking is proof of this. It fundamentally changes the way financial institutions and third parties interact with customer data and opens a new horizon of opportunities for business, financial institutions, and the economy.
