Speech of People with Cleft Lip and/or Palate in the Light of Selected Polish Scientific Publications of the 21st Century

Summary/Abstract: The author presents an analysis of selected Polish-language scientific publications that address the issue of speech in people with cleft lip and/or palate, which were published in the 21st century. The analysis included ten journals in which the author sought articles that included the subject of speech disorders in people with defects in the midface of the cranium. The conducted query allowed her to determine the number of publications on the subject of speech in people with cleft lip, their types and issues. The analyses undertaken make it possible to determine the basic problems that became the subject of scientific research described by the authors of the publications in question.
