Analysis of Bilingualism and Dyslexia in a Polish Child According to the ICF Classification

Summary/Abstract: The article contains a proposal to incorporate the author’s concept of assessing bilingualism and language communication disorders into one’s practice. The proposal is based on the ICF classification, combined with the diagnostic formula RIOT and information obtained from the Language Experience and Proficiency Questionnaire (LEAP-Q) and the Language Biography method. The theoretical assumptions of the tools are discussed and an example of their administration is included on the example of E., a bilingual boy with dyslexia.
