Summary/Abstract: The article emphasizes the social and didactic function of literature in the context of the current revival of literary engagement in contemporary Spanish prose. I analyse the diversity of discourses, as well as certain forms of dialogism and conversationality in the fictions of Isaac Rosa pointing out some aspect of propaganda.
