Summary/Abstract: The topic of the teaching on the Holy Eucharist in the works of the Holy Fathers remains relevant in principle. In this article, we focus our attention on two of them - St. Ignatius of Antioch and St. Cyprian of Carthage. We will also try to reflect on martyrdom and the Eucharist, the connection between them and their meaning, as well as on the more important topics in the works of the two Holy Fathers of the Church.
