Summary/Abstract: This review aims to discuss the French translation of the book Poruszona mapa. Wyobraźnia geograficzno-kulturowa polskiej literatury przełomu XX i XXI wieku by Przemysław Czapliński, published in 2024 as La Carte déplacée : l’imaginaire géographique et culturel des lettres polonaises au tournant des XXe et XXIe siècles. The importance of this book lies in the careful analysis of the geo-cultural imaginary of the contemporary Polish literature. Przemysław Czapliński offers us an interesting insight into the recent evolution of the Polish view of the countries closest to Poland and their inhabitants, not without replacing it in history. Exploring a particular subject, his book is a valuable introduction to Polish literature to which few critical works are still devoted in France despite the growing number of Polish books translated into French.
