Summary/Abstract: The accelerating digitization of the global economy is reshaping labor market structures, transforming traditional forms of employment, and redefining the demand for skills and competencies. This study explores methodological approaches to analyzing the multifaceted impact of digital technologies on labor market dynamics within the broader context of societal transformation. It focuses on identifying suitable research frameworks that integrate quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods to capture the complexity of digitalization processes. The article examines key methodological paradigms – such as econometric modeling, comparative analysis, and forecasting methods – for assessing structural changes in employment, the emergence of new forms of work, and the evolution of professional competencies. Particular attention is given to the challenges associated with measuring digital skills, labor mobility, and job insecurity in digital economies. The proposed methodological framework aims to facilitate the development of models that enhance understanding of how digital transformation affects the sustainability, inclusiveness, and adaptability of labor markets in an era of technological change.
