Summary/Abstract: Purpose: The main purpose of this study is determination of the most important requirements for a successful transition to telework in Algerian companies after the COVID-19, to become a prevailing management culture. Design/Method/Approach: We opted for a qualitative approach by conducting semi-structured interviews individually with 11 company managers from different sectors of activity. Simple random sampling was used to provide detailed information. To analyze the results entirely and accurately, we relied on thematic analysis. Findings: The results concluded that a successful transition to telework in Algerian companies requires: Firstly, reviewing the labor law that regulates and documents the existing relationship between the teleworker and the employer. Secondly, the presence of digital infrastructure that goes beyond the need for designated places to include the presence of a wide-coverage, protected, and high-flow communication network. Thirdly, the existence of training programs to assist in the optimal use of equipment, software, and reduces the need for supervision. Theoretical Implications: The study provides practical insights into the role of information and communication technologies (ICT) in business continuity after opening the way for the emergence of new management models such as telework. Practical Implications: The results of the study may help company managers when developing strategies that aimed to expanding the use of telework to make it a prevailing culture in the managing labor relations among Algerian companies. Originality/Value: The study provides practical recommendations for the managers to establish a telework culture in various Algerian companies. Research Limitations/Future Research: The Covid-19 was the starting point for talking about telework, because it was a direct reason behind exploring this method of managing work relations by many Algerian companies that were not prepared. Nevertheless, they still strive to continue using it even after the end of the crisis. This situation opened the way too many questions related to the most important requirements for the success of this transition process. This is what the current study tried to answer.
