Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to offer some critical remarks on the monograph devoted to Jewish languages and literatures, edited by Katja Šmid, Ora (Rodrigue) Schwarzwald, and Ofra Tirosh-Becker in honour of Professor David M. Bunis. In addition, the article highlights the significance of this type of interdisciplinary research, which bridges Romance and non-Romance linguistic and literary studies.
