Summary/Abstract: This material is based on the author's experience as a professor at the university study program Pedagogy of Primary and Preschool Education (University of Bucharest) and at the university study program Veterinary Medicine in English/Veterinary Medicine in French (University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest). That experience allowed the author to identify a series of similarities between the mentioned programs from the perspective of how we pursue the formation and development of correct expression competence in Romanian for preschoolers, respectively for foreign students in the first semester of training. From preschool education, routines can be taken over (activities carried out daily, at fixed time intervals and with almost the same content), such as “Who is missing today?”, “The day's calendar”, “The day's news”, and also the transitions, which ensure an easy and natural transition from one activity to another. Other common elements are the development of the phonemic hearing of the trainees, speaking activities (of many types), the use of intuitive supports/support materials.
