Summary/Abstract: The article carries out a philosophical analysis of logic as a unity of normative prescription and descriptive model of thinking. The limits of formalization are determined, where rigid algorithms are unable to reproduce the flexibility of human intuition and contextuality. In the light of the challenges of artificial intelligence, it is proven that rational cognition goes beyond pure computability, defining logic as an open philosophical system, and not just a technical toolkit.
