METHODOLOGICAL TOOLKIT FOR THE FORMATION OF THE POLITICAL CULTURE OF UKRAINIAN YOUTH IN THE PRE-WAR PERIOD AND DURING THE WAR

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of methodological approaches to the formation of the political culture of Ukrainian youth in the pre-war period and under the conditions of the armed conflict that began in 2014 and escalated after 2022. The article reveals the specifics of applying formal and informal methods for fostering the political consciousness of youth, among which are educational programs, the activities of youth organizations, media tools, family upbringing, and socialization in the digital environment. Transformations in the content and priorities of political culture during the war are analyzed, including the formation of national identity, a culture of resistance, responsibility, and solidarity. Particular attention is paid to the role of national-patriotic education, the development of digital political culture, and the activation of volunteering and civic engagement among young Ukrainians. Methodological approaches include institutional analysis, structuralfunctional approach, sociological methods, historical-comparative method, modeling, discourse analysis, visual-communicative methods, cognitive-psychological methods, and network analysis. The results of the study are significant for the development of effective political culture education programs and for enhancing the political awareness of youth in the current socio-political realities of Ukraine.
