Summary/Abstract: The article examines the phenomenon of sport as a fundamental social value that emerged through the civilizational development of humanity. It is noted that, in engaging in sports, an individual embodies such values as freedom of choice, justice, humanism, competitiveness, and respect. The study emphasizes that sporting activity contributes to personal self-development and the cultivation of spiritual qualities.
