Summary/Abstract: The article examines virtue as the practicing designer՚s moral-ethical compass. Shown that professional ethics goes beyond a norms՚ list. Argued that a culture of open review, interdisciplinary communication, and orientation toward the principles of sustainable development and a circular economy are necessary conditions for responsible design. Concluded that virtue enables the transition from technical mastery to more perfect practices.
