Summary/Abstract: The article substantiates the importance of the formation of national identity in modern society. It is found that the main tasks of national-patriotic education in wartime are the formation of high self-awareness and patriotism, active life position, and national dignity among citizens of Ukraine. The interaction and mutual influence of the formation of national identity and the processes of national-patriotic education are studied.
