Summary/Abstract: Cyberbullying is becoming an increasingly widespread phenomenon that affects all age groups in society. A significant number of users of social networks, online video games and other forms of virtual communication around the world are subjected to prolonged and coordinated virtual harassment. Victims of such harassment can experience a wide range of negative emotions, such as apathy, anger, and a desire to isolate themselves from others, which increases the risk of critical consequences, even suicide attempts. This article discusses virtual communication as a factor in the emergence of aggressive behavior that can potentially lead to bullying. In addition, the factor of anonymity in virtual communication is positioned asthe main source of aggression, the iteration of which turns into cyberbullying.
