Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the current challenges and threats to the information security of the European Union. It outlines the activities of European institutions responsible for addressing information security issues and examines the relevant legislative framework in this domain. The study explores the main directions of the EU leadership’s response to informationrelated challenges and threats. It also highlights the key features of the European cybersecurity strategy.
