Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the predictive role of emotion regulation in romantic relationships, attachment styles, and relationship satisfaction. The research was conducted using a relational model. The population of the study consisted of individuals residing in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus who were in romantic relationships; the sample comprised 400 participants aged 18 and older selected through purposive sampling. Data collection tools included the Socio-Demographic Information Form, the Emotional Regulation Difficulty Scale, the Three-Dimensional Attachment Styles Scale, and the Relationship Satisfaction Scale. According to the research findings, a positive relationship was found between emotion regulation difficulties and secure attachment style, while negative relationships were found between emotion regulation difficulties and avoidant and anxious-ambivalent attachment styles. In light of these findings, it is recommended to examine the relationship between emotional regulation difficulties and attachment styles in a larger sample and to specifically address the dynamics between the subdimensions of attachment styles and emotional regulation strategies.
