Summary/Abstract: The paper advocates the thesis that the feminist interventions of the Nadežda Petrović Memorial can be traced by analyzing the theoretical discourses of Griselda Pollock, Julia Kristeva, and Rosalind Krauss, using the example of the 19th Nadežda Petrović Memorial. Accordingly, the method of analyzing theoretical contexts in the paper shows how feminist interventions in canonical art history are articulated. Among the modest attempts at a feminist reading of the history of art in Serbia, the 19th edition of the Memorial stands out. It was significant as one of the first to publish texts critical of the canons of the discipline, but given the legacy it inherits, it was paradoxically completely removed from the context of the event and from the map of feminist activity.
