Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between Hegel’s philosophy of right and the tradition of jusnaturalism, emphasizing how these two philosophical-legal paradigms both differ and complement one another. Jusnaturalism rests on the ontological assumption of human nature endowed with logos and seeks to define immutable norms of law, whereas Hegel, through the dialectical and historical development of spirit, demonstrates how inner freedom necessarily realizes itself through the moments of actuality and becomes objectified in external institutions. The key link between these theories lies in the concept of double legality – the “inner”, which guarantees the meaning and justification of law, and the “outer”, which ensures its effective form. Professor Milenko A. Perović particularly emphasized the importance of the dual aspect of conflict and cooperation in the constitution of the social community within Hegel’s phenomenology of will, which also resonates with theories of the social contract. The research shows a fundamental affinity between these paradigms, indicating that the idea of change and conflict is inherent to both the jusnaturalist traditionand the theory of the historical development of law. In this way, the natural and rational origin of law is highlighted alongside its historical and institutional realization, within a complementary relationship.
