Summary/Abstract: The ambience of Manak’s House, a protected cultural monument and the museum contents of the Hristifor Crnilović Ethnographic Memorial Collection, which is located there, with documentary sources on numerous traditional crafts, are a great inspiration for the work aimed at building educational programs in order to preserve and revive old artistic crafts an integral part of the intangible cultural heritage of Serbia. In the traditional culture where skills and knowledge were passed down orally from generation to generation in families and master craft workshops, today this role is increasingly taken over by museums. Since the 1990s, the experts of the Ethnographic Museum have recognized the importance of transferring knowledge of traditional crafts, folk handicrafts and old art techniques and their popularization, and the space of Manak’s House as an adequate place for this type of activity. In this paper, the school „Ten Days of Filigree” is presented, which aims to preserve filigree, the most beautiful technique of traditional craft as part of the intangible cultural heritage of Serbia. The school is part of the regular educational program in Manak’s House, an annex of the Ethnographic Museum since 2019.
