Summary/Abstract: This presentation describes the summary of the book entitled "Suffixal word formation in the work Dîvânü Lügâti't-Türk" signed by Edina Solak and Mirza Bašić. Suffix word formation is one of the most significant characteristics of Turkic languages. The already mentioned book analyzes the derivational suffixes that are added to the root or base of the lexeme and modify their meaning structure. Since concrete contextual examples from the work are used for the analysis of derivational suffixes, this study represents a significant contribution to the study of the morphology and syntax of Turkic languages.
