Summary/Abstract: In this paper, on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the death of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian philosopher Kasim Prohić, I systematize some of the key reflections that I explained in detail in the book The Triumphal Arch of Philosophy. In a broader sense, I try to situate Kasim Prohić’s philosophical work in the context of the thinker of the “authentic spirit of Bosnia” within the framework of contemporary European philosophical thought. I point out the need to take Kasim Prohić’s philosophical work outside the framework of “aesthetics” and “critical theory of society” and propose what I define as a non-dogmatic approach to his philosophical work. This leads to the need to establish a dialogue between Kasim Prohić and other contemporary philosophers, primarily a dialogue with Manfred Frank and Hans Blumenberg, about which I wrote extensively in early mentioned book, and for the purposes of this paper I have outlined only the basic starting points. Ultimately, and in the context of the philosophical manner of asking questions about tradition, I try to treat Kasim Prohić’s philosophical work as a kind of prolegomena for the Bosnian spirit of European philosophy.
