Summary/Abstract: The article describes the flag of the Serbian Singing Society in Timișoara (Srpska pevačka družina u Temišvaru), manufactured in 1894 and consecrated in 1895. Along with a brief historical overview of the activity of the Serbian Singing Society in Timișoara (1867–1947), the article narrates the occurrences that led to the manufacturing of this flag, namely the festivities on the occasion of twenty-five years of activity of this coir. Apart from the detailed description of the flag itself, the article reproduces the names engraved on the 192 memorial plates from the flagpole, many of these belonging to important figures and institutions of the time. The photographs of the flag complement the description of one of the oldest and most significant elements of visual identity of the Serban choirs on today’s territory of Romania.
