Summary/Abstract: The digital age has fundamentally transformed economic structures, prompting a paradigm shift from traditional models based on goods and linear markets toward service-oriented, platform-driven, and data-centric economies. This article explores key dimensions of this shift, including the rise of the experience economy, subscription and “as-a-service” business models, platform-mediated market dynamics, and the monetization of data as a strategic asset. It also examines decentralized technologies such as blockchain, the emergence of the gig economy and flexible work arrangements, and the implications of these trends on economic inequality, sustainability, and ethical business practices. Regulatory challenges and opportunities in the digital economy are discussed, highlighting the need for adaptive governance frameworks. The study emphasizes that navigating the digital paradigm requires a comprehensive understanding of new economic logics to ensure equitable, sustainable, and innovative development.
