Summary/Abstract: The dissertation focuses on the analysis of a region which corresponds with today’s Cluj, Bistrita- Năsăud, Mures, Harghita, Covasna and Brașov Counties, including the north-eastern part of Sibiu County. We are well aware that the political-administrative repartition barely has any archaeological significance but the selected region is used purely out of methodological considerations. The importance of this territory stands out also because of its geographical position which allowed the fusion of influences coming from other regions as well as cultural backgrounds.
