Summary/Abstract: My brief work on this publication is part of a small journey in search of a true understanding not only of environmental policies but also of politics in our country as a whole — an understanding of the administrative level of the state, its environmental practices, and whether they are truly sustainable. New times require a new organization with a new vision, mission, and direction. Ecology is a part of us, and every good practice for environmental protection serves the benefit of the human race. Without economic sustainability, there can be no environmental sustainability — and, of course, the reverse is also true. The beliefs we hold are of significant importance in protecting the environment, as our convictions guide us in many different directions. We, as individuals and as a society as a whole, must be guided toward preserving ourselves and the nature around us, as well as minimizing or eliminating inequality, outdated production models, poor infrastructure, lack of decent work, and poor environmental conditions. Environmental protection depends on the ecological programs and projects that are developed and on the financial resources available to the state. This requires good communication between institutions and businesses, cooperation, and—as already mentioned—resources for developing effective environmental projects and policies. Last but not least, and for me the most important factor in protecting the environment and the surrounding animal world, as well as in developing a successful “green business,” is human consciousness, culture, morality, values, and upbringing. The “Ecology” Pillar – This refers, of course, to the environment and its protection. People should consciously use water, electricity, and raw materials. Recycling is also an important part of environmental protection, as some types of waste do not decompose for decades. The “Economy” Pillar – In order not to deprive future generations, sustainable business development must be pursued. A business equipped with the latest environmentally friendly technologies, a business that thinks ahead for generations to come — one that protects the environment and minimizes harm to humanity. The “Social” Pillar – Here, the leading factor is people — their free development and dignified livelihood. Governments should ensure fair pay in various sectors, justice, security, quality education, and more.
