The use of digital resources in teaching – trends and challenges

Summary/Abstract: This study aims to investigate the use of digital resources in teaching as an important part of teachers' digital competencies. A study was conducted on what part of the educational content is taught with digital resources, what digital resources are used to teach content, which artificial intelligence instruments are used in teaching, what challenges are encountered when using digital tools in teaching, and what additional functions or characteristics of digital tools they believe would be useful for facilitating work and increasing the efficiency of the teaching process. Based on the data obtained from the empirical study, the current picture is outlined, from which the trends and challenges in the use of digital educational resources related to the active introduction of digitalization and artificial intelligence into the educational process are derived.
