Summary/Abstract: Binary teaching as a form of co-teaching is considered a particularly fruitful way to develop critical thinking and communication skills in students. It is seen as a valuable method that not only enriches the learning process, but also prepares for the real world, where knowledge from different fields often intertwines and requires their integration. The study aims to draw attention to the role of binary teaching as a modern methodological approach significant for the preparation of future economics teachers. The study is based on a review of existing research related to co-teaching, a comparative analysis of binary and traditional teaching, and the presentation of examples suitable for application in the training of students preparing to become economics teachers. The findings indicate that binary teaching should occupy a key place in the methodological preparation of the future economics teacher because it directs to a flexible handling of various teaching methods, which leads to increased pedagogical efficiency and the development of interdisciplinary skills. The novelty is observed in terms of the recommendations made regarding the effective use of binary teaching in the training of future economics teachers.
