Summary/Abstract: Comparative analysis of literary works plays a significant role in understanding different cultural and thematic structures, allowing us to explore the intellectual world of civilizations. This study has deeply examined the thematic structures, mythological elements, and character developments in the novels Yafes'in Oğulları and The Lord of the Rings. One of the main points of analysis is the argument that the mythological elements in The Lord of the Rings have deep roots in Turkish mythology and that these elements have lived on in our beliefs, traditions, and customs through Turkish folk literature. This study, conducted using a qualitative research method, has evaluated data through the document analysis method. While The Lord of the Rings has been considered a strong representation of Western mythology, Ufuk Tufan's fantasy fiction novel, which presents Turkish mythology in a fictional framework to younger audiences, has been chosen as the comparative element. This research has revealed how Western literature has been influenced by Eastern culture and how the literary values of these two distinct cultures are reflected.
