Summary/Abstract: Primary school education constitutes the first step in preparing children for life and higher education. At this stage, the physical and structural design of visual arts education plays a crucial role in supporting interest, talent, and creativity. In the Czech education system, visual arts lessons are conducted in specialized workshops designed to be organized, practical, and functional. Furthermore, the curriculum often integrates outdoor activities, maintaining close contact with nature and animals to foster a creative atmosphere. In this context, this research aims to examine the structural characteristics of visual arts workshops and the educational approach within the Czech system. The study employed a descriptive case study method, a qualitative research design. Data were collected through systematic observations of physical learning environments, curriculum analysis, and examination of institutional documents during an Erasmus adult education project visit to the Czech Republic. The results indicated that the atelier-based educational model provides a physical infrastructure that supports responsibility, organized behavior, and self-efficacy by offering students accessible and well-equipped production spaces.
