Summary/Abstract: Osteoporosis is a disorder that has reached epidemiological proportions in the era of industralization and the application of new technologies. High-end tehnical devices have replaced human physical activity, a sedentary lifestyle has benefited the increasing number of people suffering from this disease. The goal of this work, in addition to its educational character, is to point out the possibility of how can a person with osteoporosis estimate the risk of falls and fractures, and thus reduce the number of people with fractures. Accordingly, the working and null hypotheses were set: Work hypothesis: female subject who perform in regular physical activity have good balance and equilibrium, and lower possibility of fractures, unlike female subjects who do not engage in physical activity. Null hypothesis: female subjects who do not engage in physical activity have the same balance and equilibrium, and have the same risk of fractures as female subjects who engage in physical activity. The research is prospective and analytical, and was conducted on a group of women aged between 45 and 65 years in a period from January 2023. to January 2024. The research results are presented in tables and graphs. Research has shown that an active lifestyle in terms of physical activity reduces the possibility of osteoporosis.
