Summary/Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic brought numerous challenges to the daily lives of older adults, including changes in the psychological domain of quality of life. The aim of this study was to assess the psychological well-being of older adults during the pandemic. The study included 143 older adults who were living in their own homes. The results showed that participants expressed a high level of self-satisfaction, maintained concentration and attention, and demonstrated emotional stability despite the crisis circumstances. Individuals with higher education and divorced participants reported greater life enjoyment and a higher sense of meaning in life. Additionally, divorced participants and those living in Bugojno showed greater acceptance of their own body image. The findings indicate that older adults demonstrated a commendable level of psychological resilience during the pandemic. Educational level, marital status, and local context emerged as important factors in shaping psychological well-being, highlighting the need for additional support and the development of programs to empower older adults in future crisis situations.
