Summary/Abstract: The article presents the figure of Father Kazimierz Wyszyński, a Marian, whose activities were crucial for the development and international expansion of the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary (Latin: Congregatio Clericorum Marianorum ab Immaculata Conceptionis Beatissimae Virginis Mariae). In the context of the 270th anniversary of death of Father K. Wyszyński, the study highlights his engagement in establishing the Marian Order in Portugal, emphasizing the historical as well as educational and formative aspects of this endeavor. The article includes a brief historical outline of the Marian Congregation, a biography of Father Kazimierz Wyszyński, and an analysis of his influence on the order’s growth in Portugal. The study is based on an analysis of historical sources and literature on the subject, both Portuguese and Polish, and has historical-pedagogical approach.
