Popularizing the Dalton Plan in the 1920s and 1930s all Over the World

Summary/Abstract: This article discusses different ways Dalton Plan has developed around the world since the time it was introduced in the Dalton School in the United States in 1920. We owe it to Helen Parkhurst, who introduced thousands of teachers and educators to this ingenious teaching style. Over many years, she worked hard and willingly shared her knowledge and experience gained during her distant journeys to exotic countries. This article is a continuation of a discussion about the foundations of this innovative movement in early education, known across the world, and pedagogy of Dalton Plan I have introduced in the previous part.
