Pedagogical Thought of Kazimierz Twardowski in Student Legal Clinics (Szczecin Exemplification)

Summary/Abstract: The publication discusses presents the idea of practical teaching of law, relating it to the pedagogical concept of Kazimierz Twardowski. The authors discuss how his educational thought, based on the formation of practical skills and the development of intellectual competence, was adapted in the activities of student law clinics. The article also presents exemplary methods of working of law clinics, which allow to develop students’ attitudes and soft skills, necessary for future legal practice, such as empathy, communication skills and cooperation with clients.
