Summary/Abstract: Professor Kazimierz Pospiszyl is a popular and respected teacher and psychologist dealing with the issues of crime and broadly understood social maladjustment. His scientific interests, publications and lectures had a significant impact on the development of Polish science thought. Many of the Professor’s books prove his dedication to the discussed thematic issues. Currently, he is the author of over 400 publications, including 19 books, he has promoted 14 doctors and over a thousand master’s degrees. Until now, he has been trying to be active in the field of science and teaching. This article presents the most important moments in the life of Professor Kazimierz Pospiszyl and shows his contribution to Polish resocialization. The result of many years of work are textbooks for social rehabilitation students, which adepts use to this day. The following article is proof of the Professor’s long-term dedication to the subject of social maladjustment and the invaluable effort put into the development of today’s resocialization.
