Summary/Abstract: This article presents results on the health and well-being of Bulgarian adolescents in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, with a focus on their mental health and risk health behaviors. The study includes a nationally representative sample of 3,326 adolescents aged 11-17 years. The analysis reaveals considerable levels of anxiety, stress and loneliness, as well as high prevalence of risk behaviors such as alcohol use and abuse, smoking, vaping and cannabis use, with most behaviors having increased compared to the pre-pandemic period. Based on these data, prevention and intervention guidelines are proposed, emphasizing the need for a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach, including educational, family, psychological and social strategies to improve mental health and reduce risk behaviors among young people
