Summary/Abstract: The paper addresses the role of human capital in the shaping of logistics in the future by analysing the impact of its dimensions (intellectual, social and emotional) on managers’ intention to use emerging technologies to increase the efficiency, resilience, and performance of logistics processes. The aim of the research is to develop a new construct model that highlights how these dimensions influence perceptions of usefulness and ease of use, as well as the behavioural intention to adopt technologies within logistics processes. The data were collected through an online survey applied to a sample of 176 managers operating in logistics. Structural equation modelling techniques (PLS-SEM) and multigroup analysis (PLS-MGA) were used to test the statistical hypotheses and validate the multidimensional model. Data processing was performed using SmartPLS 4 and SPSS28 software. The results highlight the synergistic effect of the three forms of human capital on perceptions of usefulness and ease of use, as well as on the behavioural intention to adopt emerging technologies. The proposed model provides solid empirical evidence on the role of human capital in supporting digital transformation, with particular relevance for emerging economies. The results obtained may serve as valuable benchmarks for logistics managers seeking to develop organisational strategies aimed at integrating emerging technologies, thereby enhancing the efficiency, resilience, and overall performance of logistics processes.
