CONTROL OF THE DISTRICT GOVERNOR OVER THE ACTS OF THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL

Summary/Abstract: The subject of analysis in the article is the characteristic and legal regulation of the control carried out by the district governor over the acts of the municipal council, regulated as general control over the bodies of local self-government and local administration in art.31, para.1, item 5 of the Law on Administration. In the development the emphasis is placed on the control for lawfulness, which is further developed in art.32 of the Law on Administration and art.45, para.4 of the Law on Local Self-government and Local Administration.
