Summary/Abstract: The author presents Dorothee Sölle, one of the most prominent European representatives of the feminist liberation theology. The theology of Dorothee Sölle, according to the author of this article, comes from the night of Good Friday. "A God who suffers, feels deserted and expropriated and dies in complete uncertainty in the end, can neither be the God of those in power nor the God of any religion or cult". Sölle is considered a feminist theologist, primarily in the sense of the liberation theology that radically politicizes subjects, methods and objects of theology. "Theology does not start here with the (philosophical) admiration of "those marvelous God's creations", but with the rejection of patience towards injustice and standing the reality produced as a lack of justice". Two great historic events - World War II and the Vietnam War - have always had a crucial role in Sölle's work and have been the starting point of her reflections.
