Summary/Abstract: Excavations in Kiekrz, on site 48 were conducted in October 2022 in connection with the construction of a local industrial project. The result of the research on an area of about 24 ares was the registration of 87 features and a total of 1 570 artefacts. In terms of chronology, the discovered material was assigned to two cultural horizons. The first was the remains of a settlement of the Funnel Beaker culture, represented by two wells (without wooden casings). In one of them 21 fragments of pottery occurred. An oak wood sample from one of them was analysing by the LSC technique (radiocarbon), yielding a date of approximately 3516–3365 BC. The second horizon was the remains of a settlement of the Lusitanian culture from the 4 th to 5th Bronze Age. Eighty - five featu res were recorded, as well as 1 391 fragments of pottery, 9 lumps of burnt clay, 147 animal bones, 2 stone objects and 3objects made from animal bones.
