Summary/Abstract: The article investigates the role of conceptual metaphors in the specialized English used within neurorehabilitation contexts. Drawing on cognitive linguistic theory, particularly Conceptual Metaphor Theory (CMT), it analyzes metaphorical expressions in a specially compiled corpus, consisting of several topical articles published in high impact factor journals in neurorehabilitation. The study reveals how metaphor not only structures professional thought but also mediates interdisciplinary communication and patient engagement. Implications for ESP curriculum design and translational medical communication are discussed
