Summary/Abstract: Sex education is an important factor in supporting the development of teenagers, contributing to the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for making responsible decisions about sexual health. Incorporating elements of sex education into social therapy interventions provides opportunities not only for adolescents to understand topics related to gender and sexuality that are important to them, but also to develop emotional, social, and behavioral competencies. This article highlights the role of sex education in social therapy, emphasizing its potential to prevent risky sexual behavior, promote safety, and support the development of healthy interpersonal relationships. The analysis emphasizes the importance of providing scientifically accurate and age-appropriate information, as well as creating an environment of acceptance, open communication, and constructive feedback. By combining educational and therapeutic strategies, sociotherapy enriched with sex education can increase self-awareness, emotional regulation, and identity formation in adolescents. The article emphasizes the importance of this integrated approach in promoting both mental well-being and sexual health, ultimately enabling young people to navigate the complexities of intimate relationships safely and responsibly.
