Summary/Abstract: In this article, I will hermeneutically explain the relationship between modernity and tradition in the vision of Rusmir Mahmutćehajić, relying on his book The Bosnian Answer. On modernity and tradition (Mahmutćehajić 2012). Before that, I will briefly say something about the author›s life and work, then about the perennial philosophy he deals with, and finally I will briefly repeat the essential thoughts contained in his works Little Knowledge. About the other in Muslim vistas (Mahmutćehajić 2005) and Hval i Djeva (Mahmutćehajić 2011a; 2011b; 2011c), which I have already written about before.
