Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the distinction between kerygmatic and diaconal pastoral care, proposed by Dietrich Bonhoeffer in the 1930s. It presents various forms of differentiation of spiritual care in this theologian and relates them to current attempts to create a typology of pastoral care based on the definition of bearers and recipients, advocated concepts, or the direction inside or outside the Church. Based on the reflection of these differentiations, the author advocates an integrative concept that distinguishes different dimensions of spiritual care, accentuated in specific situations with varying intensity, but in principle he understands the proclamation and the practical aspect of help in their Christologically justified unity.
